Some of our core principles here at The Bulow Group are philanthropy & community involvement. So needless to say, we are thoroughly proud of our very own Rob Randick, who- with a few other individuals- established ACT (Advocates Coming Together). ACT is a group of young professionals dedicated to creating an atmosphere of true inclusion for individuals with disabilities & a sub-committee of Community Services Foundation. (Check out CSF’s website to learn more about this fantastic organization.)

On February 21st, ACT hosted their first-ever fundraiser at Thunder Bowl in Mokena and the turn out was remarkable! They sold out the bowling alley with over 200 people attending an afternoon of bowling, pizza, & raffle prizes.  And were there ever raffle prizes! Over 50 local businesses donated various prizes & gift baskets ranging from a wine tasting at Cooper’s Hawk, to boxing gloves from Warzone Fitness, to a football signed by Bo Jackson, to spa packages & even White Sox tickets!

In total, ACT raised roughly $10,000 for future events & outings for adults with a range of disabilities. This is huge because it means that these individuals who might not otherwise get the opportunity to get out as frequently will have the chance to attend formals & outings to various destinations at no cost to them or their families.

We are incredibly proud of Rob & ACT for putting together such a successful event benefitting such a worthy cause. Be sure to check out ACT’s Facebook  & give them a ‘like’ to stay updated on any future events!
